Office Closing Announcement

With all of the news surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we want you to know that the health and safety of our visitors and the staff of Hartsdale Pet Cemetery is our highest priority. Therefore, out of an abundance of caution, we have made the difficult decision to close our office for all business EXCEPT burials until further notice effective immediately.

We will be in the office on a very limited basis to return voicemail messages and emails but the door to the office will be locked – including the restrooms. We will respond to all messages but it may not be immediately.

Burials are being conducted on a very limited basis and with the highest precautions. If your pet passes away please contact us and we will make the arrangements with you.

Although the gates will be open, we strongly request that you refrain from visiting the cemetery during this time. However, if you must visit then we ask that you practice social distancing in accordance with the directive by Governor Cuomo. Please note that our staff will be unable to show you where your plot is located if you are unable to find it yourself.

Please note that all flower programs will continue. If you subscribe to our annual flower care program then pansies will be planted at your pet’s plot. If you ordered the potted daffodils for the Easter and Passover holidays they will be placed at your pet’s plot in time for the holidays.

Any other business you wish to do with us must be conducted remotely as follows:

Bills may be paid (a) by credit card on our website,; (b) by credit card via phone – (914) 949-2583 (ext. 2); or (c) by mailing a check.

Monument orders and questions should be directed to Brian Martin via email – and telephone (914) 240-6222.

Any inquiries such as information about purchasing a plot, flower care programs, perpetual care and monuments or inscriptions can be made via telephone or email.

We thank you for your understanding during this uncertain time. We look forward to sharing updates with you as the evolving information about this unprecedented pandemic becomes available. We hope that all of you and your families are safe, and we send our deepest love to everyone who is struggling through this time physically, financially, and emotionally. We will all get through this together.
